The Enneagram is a versatile and powerful personality typing system. Each type represents a map of traits that highlights patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving. By learning your type and the patterns and habits associated with that type, you can use the Enneagram system as an effective tool for self-understanding and spiritual development.
.By learning about what kinds of things you habitually attend to and put energy into, you can observe yourself more accurately and develop more self-awareness. Then, you can exercise more choice about your responses rather than engaging in patterns of thought, emotion, and behavior in an automatic, habitual, unconscious way.
The Enneagram symbol and the personality types associated with it have ancient roots. Traces of it can be found in the early mystical forms of many of the world’s spiritual teachings. We’ll explore these in this course.
You’ll discover how to approach your Enneagram style dynamically, not as something you are but as something you do. Each Enneagram style is a strategy for coping with the reality that brings talents, skills, and resources as well as pitfalls, illusions, and dilemmas. Expect to be uncomfortable!!
